Medical Student Outreach During Ramadan

Last week, a group of female medical students went with Nada Naji to Tawam Hospital
to distribute donated gifts and good cheer to the children and elderly who were
in hospital. The patients and their families, as well as the hospital staff, were
very grateful for the student's thoughtfulness and generosity.
The students commented on how they had appreciated the opportunity to interact
with the patient's and their families in this way, and how much they had gained
from the experience.
The students brought a smile to many faces, and demonstrated the level of concern
and compassion they will bring to their patients as future physicians.
