Research Interest
The aetiology and risk factors for common cancers and other chronic, non-communicable diseases in South Asian and Middle Eastern populations.  
Establishing low cost, prospective cohort studies in populations which have not previously been studied, especially in South Asia and the Middle East.  
Global health - specifically capacity building and training for clinical trials and epidemiological studies in South Asia and The Middle East.  
Migrant studies - specifically the incidence of cancer and other chronic, non-communicable diseases in South Asian migrants in the Middle East and the UK compared to the host population.  
Developing affordable treatments for common cancers in low and middle income countries.
